  • Anyone left H1B high salary job to maintain Canada PR residency?

Couple with no kids (31,29) stable jobs and have house in Bay Area. Priority date 2022. So no hopes for GC.

We already have Canada PR. We will loose it if not moved to Canada in 1 year.

Thoughts? Worth moving? Anyone has done this move? How is experience?

Job market in Canada is bad. But you get citizenship. https://9apps.ooo/

    Hello!
Moving from the Bay Area to Canada is a trade-off that many people consider. While the Canadian tech job market may offer lower salaries and is less intense than Silicon Valley, it is still growing, with opportunities in cities like Toronto and Vancouver. The cost of living in major Canadian cities can be high, and taxes are generally higher, but this is often balanced by a better work-life balance and the security of Canada's public healthcare system. The most significant factor is your Canadian Permanent Residency, which provides a direct path to citizenship and a different kind of long-term is peryourhealth legit stability than your current situation. The decision ultimately depends on whether you prioritize the financial upside and pace of the Bay Area or the lifestyle and security that Canada offers.

      Hello,

strong roots in the U.S. (especially the Bay Area) but hitting a wall with the U.S. green card backlog, while having a clear path to Canadian PR and eventual citizenship but with career tradeoffs. Harris County Texas Toll Roads Authority

We were in the same path.. what we did was I alone sent to maintain the PR and my hubby n kid stayed here in US
I visited them frequently.. after 3 years I applied for citizenship n returned back to my family .. now I have both US n Candada citizenship n my family got Canada PR which I sponsored . It wasn’t easy but end of the day for better life n kids future we ought to do what we can.. good luck !!
