Hi Everyone,
I have a couple of questions regarding visa:
1. I am currently in the U.S. on an L1B visa, working for Company A. I have received an H1B approval(I-797B) through Company B, but it has not yet been activated.
➤ What is the procedure to activate the H1B status while I am in the U.S.? Should a change of status can be filed, or is it required to travel and re-enter on the H1B visa?
2. Let’s say I travel to my home country and get my H1B visa stamped. Also, my L1B visa is still valid.
➤ Can I enter the U.S. using my L1B visa, continue working for Company A, and activate or switch to H1B status at a later date?
I’ve explored various resources but would greatly appreciate an authoritative answer to ensure I comply with the correct immigration process.
