Urgent H1B Immigration Question

Hi, I have H1B stamping which is set to expire in November 2025 and its for my previous employer.

I’m working at another company since January and J have approved I797 and all paystubs etc obviously. I wanted to know if its safe to take a trip to Canada for a week. What documents should I and my wife (H4) be carrying and is it safe to travel and can i legally travel and come back on old employer’s h1b stamp? Thanks alot!! https://xender.vip/

Yes. As long as you have valid visa with same category then you can travel and come back before current visa expires. At the time of port of entry, please keep recent most H1B approval notice, Employment verification letter and recent most paystubs. It will help for CBP verification purpose.
