H1-B ( 6year Question )

Hello,

I have worked in US on L1-B from April 2009 to April 2010 and was back to india after that.

Now I have got my H1-B stamped in Jan2011.If i go to US in feb 2011 i was told that i will get only 5 years left on H1-B .... Is this correct ?

But in case i go to US in May 2011 , will i get 6 years on H1-B or still 5 years will be left on my H1-B ?

Also the time of 6 years starts when you start working in US or starts from the time the petition is approved/visa is stamped ?

5 years if you enter now, 6 years if you enter in May 2011.

6 years is the time spent in the US.
