h1b switch location after i140 before 6 months?

hi all

my main priority is to secure h1b extension beyond 6 year which i hear only happens if have i140.

i want to switch locations with my employer as soon as i get i140. i hear this will require h1b amendment AND will also require new perm/i140 process..

however, does it mean old i140 is revoked and cant be used anymore? i am fine waiting longer for gc as long as i can get valid case to extend h1b beyond 6 year on current i140 Speed Test https://vidmate.bid/

Switching work locations after getting your I-140 approved does not automatically revoke it. While a significant location change requires an H-1B amendment and may necessitate a new PERM/I-140 process, your original, approved I-140 remains valid. You can use this existing I-140 to wisely login continue extending your H-1B status beyond the 6-year limit while the new Green Card process for your new role is underway.

When you move to new location, your employer can file Amendment along with Extension. your approved I-140 will give ability to extend your H1B beyond 6 years. And PERM is location specific. If your future employment job location is going to change, at that time, you may consider for new PERM and I-140 filing. But for now, whatever I-140 approval you have, with that, you can extend your H1B beyond 6 years along with location change amendment filing. thanks
