Is original I797B required for consulate interview for H1 Visa?

I am yet to receive my original I797B(It has been shipped but not yet received here in india), but i have a duplicate copy of the same. My H1 visa interview is scheduled for tomorrow at chennai consulate. Can i attend this interview with the duplicate copy of I797B? Please advise.
