  • Question regarding green card filing.

    HI Seniors or Anyone,

I am in a very confused state. Please respond.

I got my H-1 visa with Company "A" in 2006 and since then i have been working with them properly without any issues. My employer has only 10 direct employees but he also has some middle layer consultants who work for him. I have to apply green card since i only have 2 and 1/2 years of my h-1 period left. I just checked the green card database and found that my company has 20 green cards from 2001 to 2010. But when i enquired with other friends and checked other big companies i found out that their companies has 100 green cards. Is it safe to continue with my own employer whom i have been working from beginning or to transfer to better employers????????

You cannot apply for green card. Your employer needs to initiate the process.

Greencard is for future employment. Employer can only initiate it.
If your employer has all valid things, then doesn't matter wether they have 10 or 100.
