COS from L2 - H4, Do I need to surrender SSN and get new ITIN.

Hi,

My wife got her SSN last year "Valid for work only with DHS authorization" while she was on L2 status. She never applied for EAD though.

I recently changed my status from L1 - H1 and correspondingly my wife's status changed from L2 -H4.

I would like to know whether I can still continue to use my wife's SSN for Tax Filing and other purposes in coming years OR do I need to surrender it to IRS and get new ITIN no.

No.
SSN has nothing to do with your immigration status. It is issued for life and you can use that to file tax returns.
