H4 visa extension

hello,

I hold an H4 visa as a dependent of my wife who is on H1B. our visas are
valid up to august 2011. At present she is working and living in USA. I
live and work in India.Application for extension of her H1B visa is being
filed by her employer through an attorney in the USA.

What i would like to know is can extension of my H4 visa be filed in the
USA with my wife"s application.I will appreciate your reply.

Once her H1 is extended, you go for H4 visa stamping in India based on that.
