I am in Chennai, India now on a vacation and my H1B Visa has expired, but I have my approval papers which is valid till 31st March 2006. I am totally shocked at the appointment dates in Chennai (28th of June) and other embassies in India are equally bad (atleast 60 to 70 days waiting time). My vacation ends on 3rd of april.
1. Is there anyway I could get the stamping done by this time?
2. Can I go to Nepal or Dubai or other neighbouring countries to get the stamping done?
I desperately need proper advice on this situation.
