Visa Appointment at Chennai consulate

I have H1. and have got approval

What if I have booked the appointment in the Chennai consultate together for both me h1 stamping and my would be husband for h4, but then i go to canada and get it stamped for just myself.

Can I still go to the chennai consultate with the same appt and but only get h4 for him..is this allowed

Please advice. For chennai since the waiting period is 3-4 months i need to book right now.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

If u r planning to attend for ur H-1 stamping in Canada, then don't take appt for ur H-1 at Chennai. Just take appt for H-4 only. U can attend for H-1 at Canada before ur spouse attend for H-4 and send ur pass port/visa copy along with other documents to ur spouse for H-4.
