  • H-4 visa for pregnant woman

    Hi,
My H1 petition is approved and i am planning to get my visa stamped in March along with my wife (H-4) who is pregnant with 28 weeks. Will there be any issue for her H-4 stamping and will she face any issues in Port of entry as she is pregnant.

The H1 has been filled by a well MNC.

There is no problem in applying for the Visa. But in late stages of pregnancy, Airlines may refuse to transport her; it may not be safe for her and the baby either. There is no problem from immigration standpoint.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

Like mentioned in the previous reply, visa stamping will not be an issue because of pregnancy. Along with other documents also carry proof of proper medical insurance for your spouse. That is something the VO or the officer at the POE may ask.
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
