Hello Everyone,
I am currently in India and have my H1b approved recently as an extension by Company B. I currently have valid H1b visa from my previous company A until Aug 2011. Since I am in India, my lawyer might have received I797B. I have to confirm that. They will send it across to me from US. I have my I140 approved.
Aug 2005-Sept 2009- Company A, valid visa stamp till Aug 2011
Sept 2009- March 2010- Company B, returned to India after that.
My question is
Will I have to go for visa stamping in India ? My lawyer is saying that I can travel to US without visa stamping with company A's visa and new H1b petition documents and I will get a new I94 at POE.
