  • H4 after H1B Transfer

    Hi All,
I am on H1B and arrived in USA almost a month back and working for Comp A.
Comp B is willing to transfer my H1B. My dependents(Spouse and Kid) already have their H4 stamped through Comp A along with me but are still in India.
If my transfer goes through, I am planning to move to Comp B.
In that case, post H1B transfer can my Comp A revoke my dependents' H4?
Otherwise, they can travel just with old H4 and copy of the new company petition, right?
Is there a safe way to travel for my dependents?

    Thanks/Regards,
    Raja John.

H4 has got nothing to do with any of your employers and employers cannot revoke anything for dependents. H4 is associated with your H1B and not the company for which you are working. As long as they have a valid H4 visa, they can travel with your latest approval notice.
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
