Applying for H1B after L1B rejection

Hi,

My L1B visa was rejected in 2011 under 221G. My company is now going to initiate H1B for me.
I have over 5 years of IT experience. In one of my previous work experiences, I had worked for projects under the Defense domain ("Electronic Warfare") and this is mentioned explicitly in my experience certificate.
I want to know whether this will negatively affect my chances of getting a H1B visa now. Are my chances of getting an approval bleak, for no fault of mine?

Please help. I am in much despair...
