  • Unusual situation

I got my h1b in 2008 april for company A. I completed master's in US. Due to some reasons, I have to leave the company and come back to India. I didn't go to consulate in India to get stamping. Now, I want to transfer my old h1b to a new consultancy this year. What are the risks involved in this?

There are no risks because you did not get a Visa in your passport.
But for consultancies in general there is a lot of scrutiny these days. If they are a legitimate company which has clients, projects waiting for you and a good history of properly paying employees it will be less risky.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
