H1 B Visa Stamping - URGENT!

Hi,

My status recently changed from F1 to H1 B. I had to come to India in emergency and now I am struggling to find visa appointments at the US embassy consulate for my region. I already submitted the DS-160 form for this region. I am seeing many dates available at the kolkata consulate. Can I take an appointment at a different consulate even after submitting my DS-160?

Call up VFS to confirm this, but I think you can do this. If not you can just fill the form again for new consulate.
