H1 & L1 simultaneous processing

Hi,

I got my H1 approved in 2010 and yet to go for stamping. And this H1 is from 'XYZ' company.

Meanwhile my current working company 'PQR' has started my L1 processing.

So both H1 & L1 visa processing is happening simultaneously.

My question is:
1) does this simultaneous H1 & L1 processing has any impact on each of the other visa stamping.
2) Does it have any impact at Port Of Entry?
3) In general how does this simultaneous visa processing happen?

Please help me understand this.

I assume you are not working for either of the companies in the US.
You can apply for any Visa at the consulate. The Visa officer may or may not cancel the previous Visa (if any) in your passport. (The underlying petition is not canceled).
At POE you can use the Visa and petition for the employer who you wish to join. What you use at POE determines your status, you can only work for that employer.

Read above. You can use any one Visa to work for corresponding employer.
