GC Initiation Question

Hi

Iam entring to 5th year of my H1B duration next week
And want to start my GC processing

Can i start my PERM labour processing after entring to 5th year
Or labour should get approve before 5th year....
Pls advice

PERM should be filed 365 days before the 6th year end to get the 7th year extension on H1B (Just in case I-140 doesn't get cleared by the end of the 6th year).
