H4 visa interview location

Hi,

I am working in US on H1. I am getting married in may and have to schedule visa interview for my spouse for H4 visa. I belong to Andhra Pradesh.

My question is, do I need to schedule interview only in Hyderabad consulate for my spouse or can I choose Chennai too? Too much of political stuff going on in Andhra Pradesh now. So, I do not want to take risk if there is a bandh on the date of the interview.

Please let me know.

You can schedule the appointment at any U.S consulate in India.
