Interview Appointment System VFS shows wrong data

Hi all

I booked an appointment at the New Delhi Embassy for March 22.

I am an Indian Citizen currently in US on H1B since Oct 1. I was on OPT before then.

My interview letter says that the

case type: Visa Renewal
State of Residence: Delhi

My H1B started on Oct 1, so is it a Visa Renewal? I am not sure. I have never been stamped H1B before.

Also my courier address on the interview letter is Uttar Pradesh (which is correct). I never gave Delhi as my state of residence. Should I contact VFS regarding that?

Any advice or suggestion here would be very helpful.

I'm not sure why it says renewal - did you state that you were coming for a renewal when you first entered the information for the DS-160? Suggest you go back and check that.

Additionally, the interview letter will usually show state of residence as the place where you're going for the interview. I'm from Bombay but went to Chennai for the interview, and it showed state of residence as Tamil Nadu (though the passports were shipped back to me in Bombay), so I doubt that would be a problem.
