H4 to H1B and now for Visa Stamping

This is regarding my wife to came to us in 2008 on H4 visa and she got a H1 B approval in January 2010 ( filed in 2009 ) but unfortunately she couldnt secure a job in 2010 due to which she doesnt have any pay stubs or W-2 for 2010 and she recently got a job ( jan 2011 ) and we are planning to go to India in May and she needs to go for visa stamping.

So for all the visa gurus in the forum my question is. Is it advicable to go to India now with no W2 forms and does she stand a chance of securing a visa.

Her chances of a successful stamping is very less since she has been out of status for more than year now.
