Filing for H1B

Hi,
I have a L1B visa valid till January 2013 and my wife is on L2 visa having EAD valid till Oct 2012. She is working with XYZ company as a full time employee. I am planning to file my H1B now. Does that mean she can't work once I get my H1B approved or She can still work till the time her EAD is valid?

She cannot work after your H1 effective date (ex. Oct 1). Also she will need to file I-539 to change her status from L2 to H4 before this effective date, this can also be filed together with H1 petition. I am assuming both your I-94's are valid.
