  • H1b stamping after L1 refusal..

My L1b (applied by my company A in India) got refused under 221g 1 week ago. Now, company B in US wants to hire me and sponsor my H1B visa.

My question is if I go to the consulate for H1 stamping just a couple of weeks after my L1 refusal, will that make the VO suspicious of my intent?

As I understand, H1B is a dual intent visa meaning an intent of immigration is allowed on it. However, going for stamping so soon after L1 refusal is making me doubtful.

    Any clarities here?

It's not an issue as long as the reason for previous rejection is not because of you (Ex: Forge documents etc).
