W2s for re-stamping in India

Is any one got the query about W2s anytime?

Does any body got the query just holding the current year w2 and not holding the previous years?

From the usconsulate web sites, only Chennai and HYD centers are asking previous years W2s, But Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata are not asking w2's at all.

Heard from some friends that they are not at all looking w2's, Did they asked for you?

It depends on the VO. Some might ask for the W2 and some don't. However, w2's are required doucment for visa interview. You should be in a position to hand them any W2 that they ask for your period of stay in U.S in work visa.
