H1b transfer

Hi ,

Company B has applied for H1b transfer through premium consular processing .

Its already 2 weeks but my attorney haven't received receipt number .

I dont understand why its taking time .Do USCIS will issue receipt number even for consular processing ?

Company B is saying that we may get direct approval with out getting the receipt number . Is its true ?

For premium processing cases, the attorney will receive the receipt number by email if they have provided it while filing the petition. The hard copy of the receipt will take anywhere between 1-2 weeks.
