Hi,
Here is my situation:
a. Applied for F1 in 2006 and did not pursue MS for personal family reasons. Entered US and came exited without overstaying and withdrew from all my courses. Stayed in US for about 2 months.
b. Obtained - company sponsored HSMP (skilled migrant visa) visa in 2008. Did not go to UK as the projects requirement changed.
c. Got an Az PR in 2009. Visited Az for a few months.
d. Presently, have an opportunity to apply for h1b from a consultaing firm in US. I am confident that I would be getting the h1b petition approval, but more concerned about the VO / stamping and what kind of questions could be asked.
What are the chances that I will get my petition approved and visa stamped ?
What are the pros and cons of my situation ?
What kind of questions can I expect from VO ?
What is my situation ? Is it good and should I proceed ?
Does having work permits of other countries help in getting a h1b and seen as a skilled person ?
I only have a very short span of time for making a decision soon and accept the offer. I hope someone will provide me some advice/suggestion and help me evaluate my situation.
Any comments/questions/thoughts are welcome. Greatly appreciate your suggtesions.
Many Thanks in advance,
Cheers, Deep.
