Query in Photo appearance

Dear all,

My H1B petetion is approved and I have a query in my photo appearance.
Actually Iam having a small swelling in my left eye now. Can I take photo for DS160 with that swelling. Will this affect in any way. Please advice me and sorry if the question is silly.

How long will it take for it to go away? Your photograph should have your normal/usual appearance.
