  • Applicant's Resume for H1-b Filing

I started working as a fulltime employee for Comp A in May 2010 (on my OPT- Ext) and they applied for my H1-B in Nov 2010 which is now approved. They made mistake in the h1b filing
The Resume which was used to apply for my H1-b was not updated and it had all misleading dates of my prior employments with other companies. A few of them listed on the resume were not even E-verified and few of them for which I worked were not even on the resume.I was just wondering whether the dates of employments on the resume would really count, I am trying to fill out the DS-160 form and was just wondering whether to put the dates from my Latest resume or put the same dates as of the old resume which was submmited to USCIS I am going for visa stamping in a few days Please advice

Enter the correct information from your latest resume while filing DS-160. Any false information can lead to a visa refusal or even a ban.

thank you for the reply shervin,
I mean if I put in the Correct information on DS-160 would it not contradict the information on my resume. I mean this resume was submited to USCIS while filing my h1-b petition. what should I answer if they look at the mismatch?

I think you are worrying too much. Just forget about what has already happened and make sure you don't give any false information just to support the mistake that has happened in the past.
