Quitting job: How long can I stay in US?

I am currently working in the US on a H1B Visa and planning to move to India for good. How long can i stay in the US after quitting my job?

0 days. The immediate next day you quit your job you will go out of status. The only option is to apply for a COS to B2 and if approved, you can stay.
