H-4 for new born

Hi!
I am applying for my H-1B (change of status) and H-4 as my dependent for my 2 month old son.
My husband is in US on his own H-1B

I would like to know if I need to take my son for Interview at New Delhi Consulate???

Can I appear on his behalf for interview.

You need to take your son to the visa interview. When you book your H1B visa appointment, add the dependent to it and book it as a single slot.
