Hi,

I am a employee of a desi consulting firm and applying for my first H1B renewal

find below my layer structure
My employer-->Main Vendor-->Client

My vendor has given me a letter on his letterhead stating
my roles and responsibilities
end client details and location

he would also give me work order between client and his company

I am trying to get client letter from my manager but i am not sure i will get it.

So, can i apply for my extension with vendor letter and work order ?
and in present scenario for how many years are getting extension ?

>>> Yes. If you cannot get the client letter, then the SOW between the vendor and the client and the SOW between your employer and the client can be used. Also, if the client cannot give you a letter, at least get a letter stating that they cannot issue you a client letter as per their company policy. That will help.

and in present scenario for how many years are getting extension ?
>>> It depends on the work itinerary provided by the employer. The max is 3 years.
