Hi,

Can i go with my own attorney to file my GC because i don't want to go with my employer's attorney?

If that is the case, what information do i need to get to file my GC through my own attorney?

GC should be processed by your employer. You cannot initiate your own employment based GC. Unless the employer is willing to go with a different lawyer to file your GC, there isn't much you could do. There is a separate section dedicated for GC in immihelp. Look there for the list of required documents. The cost of filing the GC should be from the employer.

You can certainly consult your own attorney and have them talk to your employer or their attorney. But immigrant petition is filed by the employer and not you and it is entirely up to them who they want to consult.
