As this petition was made by employer, one of the top 5 IT giants in India and well established in USA.

And in case my visa is approved, i want to apply for h4 visa as well for my wife.

After your employer receives the approval notice, and when they wish you to travel to US, they will ask you to apply for the Visa at a US consulate/embassy in your country. Your spouse can apply for their H4 Visa along with you. After that is approved, both of you can travel to the US and start working for the US employer.
