H4 and I94 Expired - Can I file for fresh H4?

I am is in USA on H1B and my VISA and I-94 both are expired. I94 extension is already filled by my employer. My Wife is in India now.

Now my question is – Can my Wife schedule her H4 interview with Indian Embassy. I have received acknowledgement receipt from USCIS. WILL that is sufficient for her for H4 interview or she need to wait till I received my Extension approved? Please Help

She need to wait until you get your extension approved. She need your original H1B approval notice to schedule/attend the visa interview.
