H1B and temp job on EAD
Circumstances:
I did one year on OPT for my current employerA and got the 17 month STEM extension, and I am currently on it. The extension is valid until June 30th 2012.
I then started a temp job with an e-verified second employerB. They processed me through the e-verify system and offered me the week end position since I have an EAD valid till the middle of 2012. This job is a temp and is not in conjunction to my Major area of study.
However employerA is willing to sponsor me for the H1B visa, which I am to start the process for this week.
Question:
Assuming my H1B petition is approved, as to my understanding it starts on 1st of October or when ever i get it approved, if received after Oct 1st. Is it still possible for me to work my temp job with employerB until the validity of my STEM extension EAD runs out in June 2012? Or should I resign prior to H1B kicking in?
