Regarding first time travel after H1

Hello,

I got my H1 in June and i am planning to travel to India in october for stamping. Some of my friends are saying do not travel through europe. Is this a true concern?

If you don't have a valid U.S visa in the passport, then do transit through Europe (Except Belgium). The alternative is to get the transit visa for the country through which you plan to transit.
