Dependent travelling to US while H1 extension in progress

Hi, I am am in US now. I am planning to apply for my H1 extension soon. My wife is still waiting for her H4. Will she be able to travel to US while my H1 extension request is under process? Please advice.

She can travel to US up to your current I-94 expiration date. But her I-94 will also be limited to this date. After arrival she must file her own extension of status based on your extension before her I-94 expires.
