  • H1 Stamping Concerns

    Hi,

I want to go for stamping for the next 10 days. My employer has filled the petition for the same client for which I am working currently in India for 2 years. Due to that I don't have client letter. In I797 copy, it has been mentioned that I will be going for the same project.

Will there be any issue if I don't have client letter and If I say I will be working from client location?

Should I go for Chennai or Delhi for the stamping? Which has lesser rejection? Any idea.

    Thanks.

If you will be working at the client location, then they can ask for client letter and if you don't have one, then you may get a 221g. If your company is a direct vendor for this client, then the chances of a successful stamping is high. the success/rejection ration is the same in all consulates. But if you had to weigh all the recent experiences, I would suggest Chennai.
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
