Urgent....Delay in the stamping

We had an Visa appointment on Aug 8th for H1B stamping ,Though we were having all documents they asked us to drop in the dropoff box in Chennai consulate ,We have tried contacting the VFS they are responding it still under pending. we have all our stuffs including apartment in US

Is there any possiblity to know the how much time does it take to get the stamping,
If anybody went through same case please let us know how to proceed further,Help is really appreciated

Unfortunately nobody can tell. It may be anywhere between a few days and 2-3 months.
