Hi All,
I attended my H4 visa interview in Delhi consulate on 02-September-2011. My wife is a full time employee in a fortune 500 company. In spite of that the visa officer in Delhi consulate gave me a 221G form but kept my passport with him. He asked me to submit details of employees in my wife's organization and there W2.
After consultation with lawyers from my wife's organization they (HR from my wife's organization) gave a covering letter detailing my wife's employment with them. In the letter they clearly mentioned that due to the large number of employees in the organization they cannot give the details of the employee but instead to prove there genuinity they gave me the 10K document of my wife's organization which is filed with US Securities exchange.
I submitted these documents to VFS counter last Tuesday and today I get a mail from VFS saying that they have received my passport and have couriered it to my address.
The format of the case number does not allow it to be tracked online and hence I do not know if my passport is stamped or not. Can you please let me know if anyone has encountered this situation and if so did they get the passport with stamped visa ? I have not received any mail from the consulate approving or rejecting my application.
