" URGENT F1(OPT) to H4"

Hi,

I am in my last week of OPT and have filed my H4 in August at Vermont Center. I wanted to know do I have to maintain F1- status , while my H4 is pending. I am ware that I get 60 days grace period from the day my OPT expires. But what happes If I have not recieved H4 visa after the grace period.
1. Do i fall out of status ?
2. Do i need to enroll in another masters to maintain the F1- status?

You do not need to maintain F1 status once change of status is applied and pending.
