Prerequisites of H1B extension

Hi Friends,

I have h1b visa that is valid until Nov-30th, 2011.

I am moving to U.S. on 1-Nov-2011.

What are the prerequisites (required docs/condition) of filing H1B extension?

There is nothing special or different required from your side.
You must immediately start working and get paid. At least 1 paystub for the period in US (1 Nov until day of filing) will be required. Petition must be received by USCIS before your current petition expires (because your I-94 will be according to current petition).
