Hi,
My daughter (9 Months old) is traveling with my wife to India in next two weeks. She is an american born child and we have her passport & PIO card. Does she need any additional document for traveling to India?

I dont think so, but just wanted to confirm once again.

Write a letter authorizing your wife to carry your child or that you have no objection with her taking the child abroad.

Yes, simple plain paper letter to whom it may concern. It should state that you have no objection.
