What're the contents of the yellow form?

For me they have just marked on OTHER nothing else.. and nothing mentioned about the documents or anything

hi,

is there any one who got blue 221g initially and then yellow slip?

10th Jan 2012 : 1st interview : got blue slip (ask for some doc from me and employer)
Jan 19th: submit all the documents
Feb17th : Email from consulate to come with passport
Feb 22: VO again took my interview and hand over Yellow 221g checked on others ( No doc asked , passport and I-797 is with me)
still waiting ....

Have you emailed or called VFS helpline? They should be able to resolve this issue. No point in just waiting.

I called vfs on friday they said its under processing... And I have to wait for consulate reply..
Last week I emailed to consulate.. In which I got 2 reply one said its under pending status and other. Said its under admin process...

As i am new guy in this conversation i should give you some history

31 jan : Interview for my h1b and my wife for h4
17 feb: Submit my additional documents as per blue slip
24 feb: They received my additional documents as per my e mail inquiry

still waiting............since then.....


Some questions if any one has some insight into it

in my blue slip no one signed at consular officer is it a problem

and they did not give any slip to my wife

please... Give me some information on this.......

Hmm. The VFS seems all over the place with some cases. Atleast they are aware of your situation. A yellow slip is generally considered less-serious; but in your case its been more than a month. Just hold on!

Since you got the receipt of acknowledgment, you shouldn't worry about the signature. All you can do right now is wait. And since your wife is a dependent, you will hear back on both the cases together.

I am waiting since 15th Dec. Submitted same documents on 20th Jan as Mumabi Consulate sent email to submit. For them m start date could be 20th Jan but for me its 15th Dec.

No clue whether my case is being reviewed or not.

December case are still not cleared yet .. Just wondering how long it will take to clear January case.
I have one question here, my 1st interview was in Jan and i submitted Doc in Jan and then i was having 2nd interview in Feb .. my case will be consider from Feb or JAN?

Got yet another email from the consulate today that my passport is ready for collection. Had submitted it on 29th March. I'm guessing this time it is for real !!

The consulate doesn't seem to follow strict sequences. Its on case by case basis. And going by the numbers on this forum, it takes about 2 weeks to 3 months.

The email came at 5:40pm asking to collect the passport by 5:30pm, so that didn't happen. Will update this thread once I have my passport in hand tomorrow.
