Called DOS (202-663-1225) today and they said that consulate will ask me soon to submit my passport. God know how much more time will they take now to send me an email and stamped my passport.

My interview was details are

Interview March 14th 2012
Receive 2 slips 1) yellow 2) Blue

Submitted all the documents on 4th April 2012 No communication from consulate from that time. It been really painful wait now.

But its tough to say unless I rcvd PP with Stamp. I am hoping to get it by Thursday or Friday otherwise there will b more chances of rejection. Getting worried day by day..

Anyone knows that stamping got denied even after 221g cleared?

I've been following this forum right from the start. Haven't heard any case of refusal after PP was asked for final processing. One case was there which was along with H4 VISA. They kept their PP's for 3months. Hope it wont repeat in your case.

Coming to my case:
Intrvw date: 24th Jan
1st set Docs submitted: 2 Apr
2nd set Docs: 2 May (this happened after Consulate reached company directly)
When I call VFS helpline they say that VO has reviewed the docs. It is under processing.

Can anyone suggest if this would be my final submission of docs and can hope of that email from Consulate?

All 221g follower,

I have successfully cleared the 221g hurdles....


My Journey in short [RECAP]:

VISA filed on : 14 Nov 2011.

Converted the case to Premimum Processing on: 24th Jan 2012.

Got RFE on: 30th Jan 2012.

I was about to submit the docs to respond to RFE.... Got petition approved automatically.... ( strange but true.. )

Petition Approved on : 8th Feb 2012.

Scheduled Interview on: 7th March 2012..

Got 221g blue sheet as a gift from Mumbai Consulate...

Replied to 221g on: 4th April 2012....

Got Mail from VFS that docs received on : 16th April 2012..

Got Mail from VFS to submit the passport: 10th May 2012...

Submitted Passport on : 11th May 2012.

Received stamped PPT on : 17th May 2012...


Like most of the hollywood, bollywood, tollywood movies.. ITS HAPPY ending....

Got an email on May 17th 2012

I have idea if they where contacted or not as mine is big company and big client. So all thesse issues are handled by there HR department and we do not have visibility on it. But I dont feel they where as I have asked question and he told me that he havent heared anything from HR

Mine is also big company and big client. I confirmed with my onsite manager whether anyone contacted him, he said no-one... I think only proper documents only convinced them....

My passport having stamp with issue date 14th may and then there is seal of " Cancle Without Prejudice" . On yellow form date is 16th May.

Now sure what it means. .

Does anyone faces such situation ?
