L1B and H1B

Hi,

I am having L1B in XX company now i am having 2years valid in L1B.
Now yy company processing for H1B.

How long can i keep H1B visa without using it.

If you are in the US in L1 status right now and if H1 is filed as change of status, you will have to start working for H1 employer immediately after approval.
Otherwise the H1 petition is valid as long as it is approved for. You can obtain H1 Visa or change status using that petition at any time while it is valid. Of course the employer can revoke it any time they want to.
In the future any employer can file a cap-exempt petition for you at any time (even if annual cap is closed), as long as you have not spent 6 years in the US in H1 or L1 status.
