    H1 Cap Count

    Hi,
    I got a doubt in 2012 H1 cap count. As of the now the H1 cap count for 2012 season is 56300.
    I got my H1 visa petition files in September. I could see a rapid growth in the H1 filing in recent days. Is this 563000 count replicates the filing count or the number of H1 visas which got stamped?

    It is the count of new H1B petitions filed with USCIS under the 2012 quota . It has nothing to do with the visa stamping.

      If your H1B is filed in September, then no need to worry about the visa count. You just wait for your petition approval.
