H1B approved for one year

Hi, My H1B is approved for a year,but my LCA is for 3 years,Is there any drawback of this.
How It can be extended now...

please help.......

The employer will have to file extension petition like any other. Petition approval duration depends on how long they can prove that they have work for you (project).
