Need info Regarding H1

Hi

My wife came to this country on H4 during Dec 2006

in the Year 2007 H1B Quota we applied H1B for her and we never used that was valid till 30 Sep 2010.
During audit 2008 Feb Employer filed H1B for her send letter saying H1B is not useing(Cancelled).

If she gets job now can we amend her oldH1B(She will not fall under Current Auota) or we need to file new H1B

You can use the old CAP number to file a new H1B. Need not have to go through the quota again if all 6 years in the previous H1B CAP is not utilized (H1B + L1 combined).
